The 2007 ITALIAN GT CHAMPIONSHIP started with a double victory for Giacomo and his team mate Giovanni Berton on the Adria circuit.

After being fastest in both qualifying sessions by more than 1 second they won both races with a huge gap to the second and the fought for the overall win with the GT2 cars as well.

Giacomo and Giovanni are leading the Championship followed by the two Aston Martin DBRS9 of the BMS Scuderia Italia.

Next race will be on the Misano circuit were the two italians will have an handicap of 40 seconds due to the double victory (20 sec for each victory, 15 sec for the second place, 10 second of penalty for the third place; that's the way how they balance the performance).
